Since 2012, Fluent has brought together talented people from diverse backgrounds who are building great projects and experiences for the web. Developers, software engineers, interaction and UX designers, and web professionals come to Fluent to share their experiences and expertise, and to keep up with the sheer volume of new and evolving web development tools and practices.
We're looking for speakers to share new techniques and approaches, proven best practices, original research and exceptional technical skills. From frontend to backend to performance and security, Fluent provides web professionals with the skills, connections and inspiration they need to build better web experiences for today's users and customers.
As a Fluent speaker, you'll be joining a lineup of the most interesting minds in web development. Don't worry if you don't yet have a lot of speaking experience. This is a great opportunity to share what you know, build your profile in the community, and establish connections with new colleagues.
We believe that true innovation depends on hearing from, and listening to, people with a variety of perspectives. Please read our Diversity Statement.
We're committed to creating a safe and productive environment for everyone at all of our events. Please read our Code of Conduct.
For the second time, Fluent will be co-located with Velocity, the O'Reilly conference for system engineers, application developers, and DevOps professionals. Do you have insights to share for building, deploying, and running complex, distributed applications and systems? If so, we also encourage you to send a proposal (or two!) to speak at the O'Reilly Velocity Conference.
The conference will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, located in the center of charming and historic Downtown.
