Description

More data will be created in 2017 than in the last 5,000 years combined. The digital age has brought with it a proliferation of new platforms, applications, and devices that are fueling this unprecedented creation of business content. In fact, Gartner predicts we’ll see an 800% growth in data volume in the next five years, 80% of which will be unstructured. But as the amount of data grows, it gets harder, costlier, and more time consuming to make sense of it all.

Companies have a treasure trove of value in the content that currently exists within their business, but they don’t have any real way to extract this value. AI and ML are the only scalable ways to solve for this very real challenge facing businesses. While the rate of innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning is staggering, these nascent technologies have been hard to bring to business content at scale. Until now.

AI technologies unlock the value of businesses’ ever-increasing amount of data, resulting in greater efficiency and faster, more agile decision making at all levels. Drawing on real-world examples, Faizan Buzdar explains how intelligence is being applied to enterprise content in practical ways that will revolutionize the most important business processes for companies of all sizes and across all industries. Along the way, Faizan discusses the role AI plays in the long-term strategy at Box.
