In critical path services such as DNS, stability is imperative above all else. However, just as with less crucial technologies, critical path services are subject to high rates of change and technology development. NS1 is always building: bringing new products to market, adding features and functionality to its DNS and traffic management platform, refactoring core components, and more. But building and bringing technology to market quickly can be challenging when your services simply cannot fail.

Kris Beevers examines the trade-offs between risk and velocity faced by any high-growth, critical path technology business and shares real-world examples of how NS1 balances risk and velocity and how the company achieves an iterative, high-frequency product development approach while still delivering highly reliable services to its customers, by balancing trade-offs in QA coverage, deployment methodologies, product roadmap decisioning, and operations.

This keynote is sponsored by NS1.
