“There is nothing permanent except change.”—Heraclitus

Technology evolves, and companies, people, and teams are in a state of constant change. Whether a company pivots, a department gets restructured, team members leave or change career paths, or new managers join, change is a constant in the career of a leader. As a result, helping your team navigate through that change is critical to your success as a manager and for the organization.

Through her career, Rocio Delgado has been part of changing companies and teams. She’s seen reorganizations go badly due to poor communication and good intentions lead to bad consequences, but she’s also seen and been part of success stories of people changing teams, creating new teams, and giving a new identity to existing ones.

Rocio walks you through some of those examples and shares dos and don’ts for managing and communicating change in your team or organization, which may highlight where your own skills need to evolve.
