It’s never been enough to just think something is bad. Supporting the oppressed requires more than words of encouragement, more than a like or a retweet.

We’ll look briefly at the following, and learn how our tech experiences can be just as relevant to this context as any other:

• Why diversity is valuable? Now we have studies to back us up!
• My own failures and efforts to improve. I made mistakes so you don’t have to!
• Ways to contribute meaningfully. Sometimes your input is important. Sometimes it really isn’t!
• How to handle getting it wrong. We already know how to own up to errors in our work – this is no different!
