TensorFlow is a very successful open source project. There are hundreds of full-time engineers and thousands of open source contributors constantly writing code for this project. However, with the vast number of platforms and setups TensorFlow supports, keeping everything running is a major undertaking.
Gunhan Gulsoy explains how each commit gets tested from a pull request all the way to the releases and outlines the infrastructure that keeps a project like TensorFlow running.
Gunhan Gulsoy is a software engineer at Google Brain, where he works on TensorFlow. He holds a PhD from the University of Florida.
