As the mesh between your services, Istio improves visibility into your application. This improves your ability to debug your application, but how do you debug Istio itself? A service mesh adds complexity to your application and increases the number of things that can go wrong, so it’s important that you know how to identify and fix issues with Istio.

Liam White shares background knowledge to get you up to speed with how Istio and Envoy interact and leads a live session to demonstrate the tools and tricks at your disposal for debugging Istio issues.
