Manish Kumar Anand is a performance engineer at Salesforce, where he works on research, analysis, and evaluation the performance aspects in all tiers of the analytics and sales cloud. Manish’s research interests include scientific workflows, data and workflow provenance, storage and query optimizations, and ecommerce, and his expertise includes efficiently managing large-provenance graphs (labeled DAGs), specifically, efficient storage, query, visualization, navigation, and summarization of large-provenance graphs. He has also developed application tools to manage large-provenance information that are successfully integrated into the Kepler Scientific Workflow system. Manish holds a PhD and MSc in computer science from the University of California, Davis and a BTech in computer science and engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Hyderabad, India.
