Opening remarks: Tracy Stone, Intuit
Tracy is the global leader for Tech Women @ Intuit initiative. She has over 15 years of experience in high-tech companies in various roles, driving large-scale strategic programs, projects, and teams. A cofounder of girlSPARC® (a Girls Science Plus Arithmetic Club dedicated to increasing the number of girls exposed to STEM), she’s passionate about promoting women in technology and inspiring and encouraging young girls in STEM.

As we talk about the future of this disruptive and transformative technology, it’s critical to include the voices and perspectives of today’s youth who represent society’s future. You’ll hear from AI4ALL, an organization working to increase diversity and inclusion in AI by educating and mentoring underrepresented youth, and learn about what you can do today to help create an inclusive and ethical future for AI.

Amy Chou is the corporate partnerships manager at AI4ALL, where she focuses on building long-lasting relationships with organizations that are excited to join AI4ALL in fostering a diverse pipeline to artificial intelligence careers. Previously, Amy was the customer solutions manager at Clever, an ed tech startup that aims to make it easier to bring technology into K–12 classrooms, where she led a growing support team that consistently delivered on key metrics; and she led due diligence projects on mergers and acquisitions deals at Aon, a global financial services firm. Amy holds a BA in sociology, a BS in business administration, and an MBA, all from the University of California, Berkeley. During the MBA program, she cocreated a full-time MBA course on large-scale social change and was a founding member of the Race Inclusion Initiative. Amy’s an NYC native and currently resides in Oakland, where she can be found checking out books from the public library or throwing a Frisbee on a grassy field. She’s a founding board member of Camp Common Ground, a Bay Area leadership camp committed to building community between racially and economically diverse middle school students.

Moderator: Suzanne Axtell has worn many hats during her 19 years at O’Reilly Media. She’s currently the project manager for the conference websites, leads diversity and inclusion initiatives, and is on a mission to help bring more diverse speakers and participants to O’Reilly’s technical events.
