Prerequisite knowledge

  • Basic proficiency with a common query language such as SQL
  • Experience developing applications using a common programming language, such as Python
  • Familiarity with statistics
  • A working knowledge of data modeling and extract, transform, load activities

Carl has written over 20 articles in professional, trade, and academic journals and holds six patents from the USPTO. He has received three corporate awards from IBM for his innovative work.
