Birds of a Feather Networking Sessions

Call closed 11:59pm 04/27/2010 PDT.

Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions provide face to face exposure to those interested in the same projects and concepts. BoFs can be organized for individual projects or broader topics, but they are entirely up to you. We post your topic online and onsite and provide the space and time. You provide the engaging topic.

See the listing of scheduled BoFs

Please note that audio/visual equipment, including projection equipment, will not be available for BoF sessions.

When and where will BoFs happen?

BoFs will happen at the following times:
Tuesday, May 4
7:00pm – 11:00pm

Wednesday, May 5
7:00pm – 11:00pm

All BoFs will take place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, in Foothill Rooms A, B, D, and J. The Marriott is located at 55 Fourth Street, just one block from Moscone West.

How do I participate?

If you would like to lead a BoF, you can sign up onsite. Just check the BoF Board at Moscone West (second floor) for available times and location.

BoFs vs. Web2Open

BoFs provide the space and opportunity for organizations and groups to connect, network, and share ideas. Web2Open sessions are aimed to create a forum for community dialogue and discussion around topics of interest. Find out more about Web2Open.

Moderating a Birds of a Feather talk is open to attendees and speakers at the event. You must be registered to conduct a Bof talk. The moderator is not a speaker in the main program.
