Eben is Chief Architect & VP of Product Development at Sabre, a $6B SaaS software company serving the travel industry. Prior to that he served as CTO at one of the largest hotel companies in the world, creating highly transactional distributed cloud software. He also served as CIO at O’Reilly Media. He is the author of several books on software architecture, software development, and the world’s first book on Cassandra (O’Reilly). His teams have won awards from Oracle and VMWare for their innovative work. He has been an invited speaker at conferences around the world, including AWS Re:Invent, JavaOne, Oracle OpenWorld and many others.
