For Web2Open, we preschedule a handful of sessions to give you the chance to chat with experts on seriously interesting topics. The sessions include participatory discussions, along with a few unusual formats:
Hybrid Sessions. We pick three sessions in the main conference track and open them to all Web2Open attendees. Then the presenters from those sessions follow up with discussions in the Open. You can join both parts of Hybrid, or just one.
Practice Your Customer Pitch. We assemble a top-notch panel of serial entrepreneurs and marketing experts. Five startups give their customer pitch (not their VC pitch!). Panel and attendees offer feedback. No judging or ranking—just discussion. We’ve blogged more details on this session.
Speed Q&A. For one 50-minute session, we round up a five prominent people and set up five tables—one table each for programmers, businesspeople, marketing and community experts, designers, and undeclared. Each of the prominent holds an informal Q&A at a table for 8 minutes, then we ring a bell, and the prominent people move on to the next table. The goal is to get everyone connecting on a level that serves both but is rarely found in the wild.
Here’s what we’ve got scheduled so far. Check back for updates!
