Next Generation Content Discovery

Moderated by: Shashi Seth

The paradigms of browsing and searching on the internet are broken. Content publishers are confined by today’s browsers and HTML, and find themselves limited in how they expose their content to the right audience, at the right time. Search works well, when a user knows what he/she is looking for, but what about when they don’t know what they should be looking for? Disparate technologies have solved some of these problems, but to the end user, they are looking for a new paradigm for searching and browsing. These new paradigms also offer new revenue opportunities: new advertising and other forms of monetization.

Today’s technology is definitely at the stage where new paradigm shifts have started to appear. Who are these companies, what advantage do they offer to content providers, users and advertisers alike.
