Presentations: Focus on Mobile Web

This year Web 2.0 Expo has created three Focus tracks emphasizing parts of the Web undergoing tremendous change & having significant impact on our lives: the Mobile Web, Social Platforms, and Web Operations . Each Focus Track is built on a comprehensive set of discussions in a core topic, with participation from experienced industry-leading speakers.

Focus on Mobile Web will happen on Thursday and will have four sessions that cover the state of the market, platform deep-dives (iPhone, Android, and Mobile Ajax), and mobile design.

As sales of ringtones and mobile applications decline, developers and content creators need to reconsider how to make money from mobile users. Looking to models used on the desktop Internet is increasingly attractive.
