Henrik leads the Visual Design team at Hot Studio. His team is responsible for creating intuitive and visually compelling experiences perfectly suited to clients’ brands. Within Hot Studio’s collaborative process, the visual designers’ activities range from brand strategy workshops, to design exploration, to rich media animations.

For over a decade Henrik has designed an some of the most innovative online experiences and internationally distinguished brand identities. Throughout his five years as Creative Director, Henrik has spearheaded the efforts for Gap Inc., Charles Schwab, Leapfrog Schoolhouse, Nike, Cisco, Architecture for Humanity, AIGA, and Salesforce.com. Henrik’s goal: to design experiences that are both usable and beautiful.

Prior to joining Hot Studio, Henrik was the Creative Director with the design and technology firm Sapient, where he designed sites for Marriott International, Wal-Mart, and HP. Prior to Sapient, he was a Design Director at the highly acclaimed graphic design firm Studio Archetype. At Studio Archetype Henrik created designs for 3Com, KQED, Borders, Intel, SpringStreet, and Etrade. Earlier in his career, he was a Designer with the San Francisco office of Landor Associates, where he designed brand identities, and several early web sites, for such major brands as Lucent Technologies, Xerox, Gatorade, and Visa.

Henrik holds a Bachelor of Science from UC Davis in Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He still spends significant time studying design in Switzerland.
