Dina Kaplan is a co-founder of and VP of Marketing and Public Relations. Before, Dina was an Emmy-award winning television news reporter, mostly for local NBC stations. Prior to reporting, Dina worked as an associate producer for MTV News and at the White House as Director of Research for the Office of the White House Counsel.

Dina is a judge for the Webby Awards, a member of the Producers Guild of America, on the National Board of Wesleyan University, the Vice Chairman of the Board of the IAWTV (International Academy of Web Television), on the Advisory Board of the Women’s Media Center and a Judge for the Shorty Awards. Dina is the founder and Chair of the New York Founders Club, a group dedicated to promoting the start-up community in New York City. She is also the founder of the Calliope Group, a group of women founders and media executives in New York designed to support and promote women founders of technology-based start-ups. Dina has spoken at the World Economic Forum, SXSW, DLD, Monaco Media Forum and Stream, and continues to believe New York is the best place to start a start-up, despite that other place across the country where a lot of entrepreneurs live.
