Logo requirements

Print and web logos should be submitted via email to exhibitorhelp@techweb.com and should comply with one of the following print specs:

  1. Adobe Illustrator or Freehand EPS vector file with fonts outlined (very important)
  2. 300 dpi Photoshop TIFF, EPS, or JPEG file of your non-animated logo

Description with URL

A 100-word text description of your company, leading with the company name (i.e. O'Reilly Media, Inc. spreads its knowledge through their books...) and the URL you would like your listing linked to should be emailed to exhibitorhelp@techweb.com.

Web 2.0 Expo brings together thousands of designers, developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, and business strategists each year to learn and discuss the latest web technology trends and challenges. The next Web 2.0 Expo, will reveal the key pieces of the digital economy and the ways you can leverage important ideas for your own success. We'll apply the economic filter to data collection, social connections, social media platforms, browser successes, old media in new channels, and global commerce.

Files for Web 2.0 Expo NY logotype are available for download here. You may use them if you comply with our visual guidelines, as outlined below. If you need a different format or size, please send a request to: exhibitorhelp@techweb.com

General Guidelines:

For all uses of the Web 2.0 Expo NY logotype, you may not:

  1. Alter the logotype in any way, including but not limited to color, size, letterforms, and proportions.
    The official color is: PMS 3135

    Hex: #faa61a
  2. Combine the logotype with your own or any other logos, trademarks, or designs, or place it in close proximity to other corporate logos or branding.
  3. Make the logotype the most distinctive or prominent feature on your web page, printed material, or other content.
  4. Use the logotype in a way that suggests any type of association or partnership with Web 2.0, O’Reilly Media, or TechWeb, or approval, sponsorship, or endorsement by those entities.
  5. Use the logotype in a way that is harmful, deceptive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to the average person.
  6. Use the logotype on websites or other places containing content associated with hate speech, pornography, gambling, or illegal activities.
  7. Use the logotype to, or in connection with, content that disparages us or sullies our reputation.

Minimum Clear Space:

We require that there be clear space between the logotype and other elements in proximity. The minimum clear space around the logotype all on sides should be equal to the relative height of the letters EXPO/NY to the size of the logotype.
