Vik Singh helped create and architect Yahoo! BOSS, a popular open search platform.

He developed several real-time BOSS based examples like TweetNews and the Fresh homepage for Delicious.

MIT’s Technology Review listed him as one of the Top 35 under 35 Innovators of 2009 for his contributions to search.

Vik Singh previously worked at Google and Microsoft, both in research and products, helping ship Google Custom Search and Windows XPSP2 Wireless Networking. At Microsoft Research, he worked under Dr. Jim Gray, co-authoring a publication together on data mining the SkyServer logs. He has filed 9 patents in the areas of search, social networking, and web services.
