Previously, Laurent was the cofounder of Zenedge (acquired by Oracle in March 2018) and CEO and cofounder of Ukraine-based Viewdle, which focused on machine learning and computer vision (acquired by Google in 2012). Laurent holds a doctorate honoris causa from the Cybernetic Institute of Ukraine, an MBA from the Wharton School, an MSc in computer science and signal processing from Supélec, a postgraduate degree in management from the Collègedes Ingénieurs in Paris, and a BS in mathematics (summa cum laude) from the University of Bordeaux.
