What you'll learn

  • Explore Nest.js and learn how to use it to build a TypeScript app

Description

Nest.js is a progressive Node.js framework for building efficient, reliable, and scalable server-side applications. Nest.js allows you to build modular and testable applications; it’s very similar in structure to Angular but built for backends.

Richard Moot walks you through an application built for pushing order into a Square POS using TypeScript in the backend created using Nest.js. He explains how using Nest.js is different from just using Express, its benefits, and even how to convert it to work in a serverless architecture with Google Cloud Platform.

This session is sponsored by Square.
