Prerequisite knowledge

  • Basic understanding of data engineering, extract-transform-load, event processing, and machine learning (ML)

The topmost challenges that data warehouses have faced over the years are coping with storage requirements for ever-growing data and increased demand for compute to process this data. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has enabled the creation of a completely serverless, scalable, flexible, and resilient data warehouse at Vuclip. See how various GCP products are selected for various use cases with Koushik Kulkarni—from managing tables to managing real-time data ingestion and from creating data marts to enterprise data warehouse. Understand how to put governance and security around your data and manage access for various consumer teams. Optimize your costs by maintaining life cycles of different environments. Technologies used include dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, cloud storage, datastore, cloud functions, compute engine, and ML engine.
