Play the Puzzle Game to win an O’Reilly hoodie!

Join in the fun! We've created a 20-piece puzzle and have hidden the pieces throughout the conference. Collect the puzzle pieces by visiting the Expo Hall, attending parties, participating in networking events, and attending keynotes. Collect all 20 pieces, put them together, and take your completed puzzle to the puzzle station in the Expo Hall (booth #1111) to get an O'Reilly hoodie. Supplies are limited.

Step 1: Collect the puzzle pieces
Get started by stopping by Registration to get the first few pieces. Then begin collecting the remaining pieces from the different locations.

All the pieces you’ll need to find will be distributed at the following times and locations:

1-5: Pick up bag with 5 pieces to get started and instructions at Conference Check-In

Step 2: Piece the puzzle together
Once you collect all 20 pieces, put the puzzle together at our puzzle station in the Expo Hall in booth #1111.

Step 3: Show us your completed puzzle
Show us your completed puzzle and you’ll win an exclusive O’Reilly hoodie–while supplies last!

Step 4: Enter to win the bonus grand prize!
Finally, fill out a card at the puzzle station to enter yourself in the running to win the bonus grand prize!

Game Rules

You must be a Software Architecture / Velocity 2019 in San Jose, CA, attendee and have a valid badge to be eligible to participate. Expo Hall Plus pass holders, members of the media, event staff and crew, exhibitor/sponsor booth staff (exhibitors/sponsors), and employees of O'Reilly Media are not eligible to participate.

• You will not be required by exhibitors, sponsors, or staff members to provide any personal information to collect the puzzle piece. This includes badge scanning.
• Each participant must collect all 20 puzzle pieces. We'll be marking the pieces when they are turned in to ensure that they cannot be used in another entry.
• Hoodies are available to the first 250 eligible attendees who collect all 20 pieces, correctly assemble the puzzle and present it in at the puzzle station in booth #111 in the Expo Hall during Expo Hall hours. Hoodie sizes are subject to availability.
• To be entered for the bonus Grand prize, participants must complete their puzzle and fill out a card at the puzzle station. Must be present to win. Winner will be selected at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 13. The approximate value of the bonus Grand prize is between $100-$300 USD.
• O'Reilly Media reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion if for any reason it cannot be conducted as described. All decisions by O'Reilly are final.
