Strong data can go a long way. By integrating external monitoring data with internal monitoring tools, Dyn has been able to pinpoint the locations of performance-related issues and report its impact on the end-user. In turn, our customers benefit from better performance and insightful reporting using our products.

As Senior Director of Technology Operations at Dyn, I utilize Catchpoint data to determine the necessary performance improvements for a customer and to prove the effectiveness of that action.

This includes:

  • Monitoring our services to report response and availability
  • Using the API push to Graphite in order to correlate Catchpoint data with internal network events and issues
  • Troubleshooting customer issues and supporting sales

Our customer lean on our company to enhance their performance, so it’s important that we are able to produce the data needed to illustrate that we are upholding the high standard of quality they expect.
