Although tools like Varnish can improve performance and scalability for static sites, when user-specific content is needed, a hit to the backend is still required, causing potential scaling issues. A brand-new Nginx module implements an ultra-fast and scalable solution to solve this problem. We’ll not only go into the details of how the modules works, but we’ll put the old and new setups head-to-head to showcase the performance and scalability differences.
