Waldo, I really appreciate your candid feedback. We did structure this 15-min slot in the spirit of a “demo-or-die” culture. I hope to improve this in future presentations, and be more educational.

While an interesting and potentially useful product, blatant sales pitches are not appreciated by the audience. The tone of the audience shifted during this talk, and was the subject of much chatter during the folliowing break. I thought that this was tasteless.

Instead of a product feature walkthrough and demo, a more broad discussion of the problem-space and potentially ways to approach the issue would be warranted. Pointing out that you do have a product that attempts to solve this problem is expected. Do your demo on the show floor, not the stage.

Visibility into real browser performance on real networks is critical for companies deploying mobile web apps. I’ve seen MDP and it’s very cool. Come see Vik give a walk through their mobile performance services.
