We’ll look at how the new JavaScript compiler, new GPU powered graphics system, new layout engine, and new platform capabilities have made websites faster today while enabling the next generation of HTML5 applications through hardware acceleration. Jason Weber is a performance lead on the Microsoft Internet Explorer team. Jason is working across the browser subsystems to ensure Internet Explorer is ready for the performance demands of modern sites and apps, including hardware accelerated graphics and compiled javascript. Jason has been with Microsoft for seventeen years. Before joining the Internet Explorer team Jason worked on Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, and was a member of Chairman Bill Gates technical staff.
