This session will use a PaaS and services to demonstrate how to create and rapidly deliver intelligent applications that understand voice commands, develop deeper dialog with users, and control devices or actions. In this example, we will use use voice commands to control a drone securely over the internet.

We will discuss the steps we took to create the demo and how they can be applied to other general purpose applications.

Mark VanderWiele is an IBM distinguished engineer working on emerging cloud technologies. Mark was chief architect for some of the first clouds in IBM and over the last several years has been performing research and development on cloud technology, focusing on how to build more efficient data centers and shorten development cycles.
