Description

Microservices and 12 factor applications are awesome – but not everyone has the luxury of rebuilding everything before moving to the cloud. What about existing applications? What about that app no one has the source code for? What about applications that have non-cloud dependencies? Is re-write the only option? How does one approach designing an IAAS/ PAAS intelligent app? Do we really need microservices?

Along with a super quick introduction to Cloud Foundry and Open Stack, this talk will take you through a series of questions and situations which we all face while designing and building applications in the context of cloud.

  • All conference type pass holders are welcome to attend this session.
