Nordstrom has two major online events a year: our Anniversary Sale and Holiday. Peak volumes can be up to four times greater than our normal traffic during these times. We want our customers to have the best possible shopping experience during these times.
In this talk, we explain how the different organizations, Business, Product Management and Technology, work together to prepare the site for this peak traffic.
