John Costa is Chief Technology Officer of S4Carlisle Publishing Services and subsidiary of Qbend LLC having US operations in Dubuque, IA and headquartered in Chennai, India. Building on 23 years experience in print, digital media, content management and many adjunct teaching opportunities at universities in the Northeast, John’s current focus is customer solutions for educational innovation, helping publishers create and deliver a truly effective multi media experience to students and teachers. Blending traditional publishing through instructional design, animation, audio, and video using media teams that hail from Disney, Universal, EA, and global broadcast, he is pioneering new methods of knowledge delivery for the next generation of learning.

John, an engineering and business graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, has held leadership roles in process engineering, automation, product R&D, and business development with AGT, WorldColor, Quebecor, and Quad Graphics. A member of BISG, MPA, BIGNY, he participates in standards and research committees in XML, eBooks and content structure. He enjoys the opportunity to teach and share his experience whenever possible.
