Patrick Martinent has 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and has been building and managing small- to medium-size IT companies in Europe, India, and South-East Asia.
Starting his career in 1992 as EDP Manager of Fashionway, a fashion retail unit, in the UAE, Patrick moved on to become IT Program Manager for Asian Buying Connexion, a buying house, in Singapore
In 1996, he established ITVEST Ltd as a holding company and created NatureSoft, an IT outsourcing unit in India, and Lateral Linux Labs, an open source & education unit in Singapore. He was instrumental in launching ICUS, an eLearning unit in Singapore, and ITVEST Consulting in 2005.
In 2009, he created Megha IT Consulting, an ITVEST venture dedicated to transitioning companies in the Cloud.
In 2012, he was selected by Google as a Google Developer Expert for India with special focus on Cloud technologies. He joined Newgen KnowledgeWorks the same year, and in his current role as CTO is focused on strengthening the company’s technological capabilities.
Patrick is based in Chennai, India, and holds a postgraduate degree with honors in computer science from ESIP, Paris, and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
