Before founding Bookigee, Kristen spent seventeen years in a wide variety of industry roles including her most-recent position as the Executive Director of the Association of Booksellers for Children (ABC), a non-profit trade association that networks the children’s book market. Under Kristen’s leadership, ABC merged with its larger sister association, the American Booksellers Association (ABA) in 2011, where its work continues.

As part of her role as an industry futurist, Kristen lectures nationally and internationally on issues facing the publishing world at venues such as Book Expo America (BEA), Digital Book World (DBW),The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), The American Library Association (ALA), and The Digital Publishing Conference of the City College of London, UK.

Kristen also edits Bowker Pubtrack’s bi-annual consumer study of the children’s book market, Understanding the Children’s Book Consumer in the Digital Age. Kristen is deeply interested in the confluence of emerging consumer behavior, technology, and publishing in the 21st Century. Find out more at

. She has been running Perseus Distribution for the last 6 years and in 2012 took over management of Argo Navis Author Services as well. Prior to her current role she was the Director of Sales Operations for The Perseus Books Group, and prior to that was Director of Business Development for PublicAffairs. Sabrina began her career at Perseus 15 years ago and has also worked in publicity, sales and marketing. She earned her MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and was interviewed for PW’s 40 under 40 profiles.

Libby Johnson McKee is the North America Director for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and CreateSpace, Amazon’s independent publishing platforms. She is responsible for the author and publisher experience, as well as innovations to help them reach more readers and create high-quality books.

Johnson McKee’s work in publishing started at in 1997 when she managed publisher relations and then aspects of the book business including merchandising, editorial and buying. She continued as General Manager of CreateSpace’s print on demand publishing platform into her current position where she helps independent authors reach their publishing goals, with many breaking into the best seller lists.

Tim Sanders is the CEO and a co-founder of Net Minds, a team publishing startup in Los Angeles. His career has put him on the cutting edge of technology, business development, new media strategies and team building. He was an integral part of Mark Cuban’s team at AudioNet, later becoming After it’s acquisition by Yahoo, Sanders rose to Chief Solutions Officer, working on key marketing partnerships, including Barnes and Noble, Random House and Sony.

Sanders is the author of four bestselling books, including the global bestseller, Love is the Killer App: How to Win Business & Influence Friends.
