Matthew McCullough and Tim Berglund, trainers for and co-presenters of the O’Reilly Git Master Class videos and Mastering Advanced Git videos, will guide you through the fundamentals and a few intermediate elements of Git in 1.5 hours of lecture, discussion, and hands-on exercises. More and more publishing workflows are evolving to incorporate version control systems, which are long-time fixtures of the software development world. Tim and Matthew will map authoring and publishing problems onto Git’s features and concepts, and put each new term into practice with demos and comparisons.

At nearly every step of this class you will be typing commands and evaluating what Git is doing both on the surface and at a deeper mechanical level. Your publishing workflow is poised to be revolutionized by Git and the process automation that can surround it. Get ahead of the curve by learning this key technology.
