This workshop will be an in-depth look at web development techniques, UX design (specifically tablets) and a new ways to interact with digital content. Additionally, we will discuss the hurdles of eliminating buttons and teaching gestures through visual cues.

We will:

  • Discuss developing new ways of interacting with content using open standards and freely available frameworks. Introduce responsive design techniques, visual cues for teaching gestures and the standards/frameworks used in the eBook.
  • Demonstrate eBook
  • Walk through key points of the code and Q&A session

Prerequisites: Text editor and GIT Client
