From 1938 to 1993 I was part of the team that developed and brought the IBM product BookManager to the market. BookManagerbuilt an e-book using the GML usd to create IBM manuals and, using the GML tagging, created a navigable and searchable e-book.

From 1993 to now I am part of the team at the American Physical Society responsible for the strategy and technology to deliver, online, the journals of the American Physical Society, back to 1893.
