The Inclusion Lounge at TensorFlow World is a space where people from traditionally underrepresented groups can share ideas and provide visibility for their projects and achievements within the often homogenous AI and ML space.

Bring your questions about how to be a better ally for coworkers from underrepresented groups, or how to hire them to begin with. Karen’s looking forward to talking with you.

Karen Catlin is a leadership coach, speaker, author, and passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity. She coaches women to be stronger leaders and men to be better allies for underrepresented groups. She speaks about inclusive workplaces, tech leadership, and women in tech. To help more people cultivate ally skills, she wrote Better Allies: Everyday Actions to Create Inclusive, Engaging Workplaces. And, to bring more diversity to speaker lineups at tech industry events, she teaches public speaking and coauthored Present! A Techie’s Guide to Public Speaking.
