It’s not the data in big data that’s valuable but the insights that we can get out of big data. What is currently missing are tools for end users to generate insights from big data. For starters, there is a need for cloud-based tools to easily visualize and publish those interactive charts on the web. Second, there is a need to organize these interactive charts so that people can find and re-publish wherever they wish. Third, there is a need to create these interactive charts in a way they can be “collected” by people for future use. Fourth, there is a need for these interactive charts to be live so when the underlying data changes, the charts change automatically.

iCharts has built a platform and cloud-based service that can do all of the above and more. We will be showcasing all our capabilities as well as the brand new ChartChannel (a collection of visualizations by our partners, the producers and owners of big data).

We also will be announcing a major partnership between a major Market Research Firm and iCharts for publishing all of their public data through iCharts. The data of this partner is regularly viewed by many people and iCharts will enable the partner to distribute its content in a more visual branded format, capturing significantly more brand impressions that previously.
