Mr. Mathur is the Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Data Science, a has brought together a team of world-class data scientists and engineers to help companies become more data driven. The SVDS team consists of experts in analytics, big data and data platforms. Previously, Mr. Mathur was SVP of Product Management for LiveOps. He was part of the executive staff and was responsible for LiveOps’ overall product strategy and roadmap. Mr. Mathur and his team designed and deployed social, mobile, multichannel and analytic applications into the LiveOps Cloud Platform. Prior to LiveOps, Mr. Mathur was a Partner in Accenture’s R&D organization, Accenture Technology Labs. He led a global team that delivered market-ready business solutions built using emerging technologies to Accenture’s clients. He held a variety of leadership positions driving research, development and commercialization efforts in analytics, data management, knowledge management, CRM, cloud-enabled services, and virtualized infrastructure. Mr. Mathur built three different analytics and data practices while at Accenture including the Information Insight R&D team focusing on machine learning and semantic web, the Analytics and Insight group focused on predictive analytics, and the Data & Platforms R&D group focused on analytics, big data and virtualization. Mr. Mathur has worked with clients in many industries including Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Healthcare, High Tech, Utilities and State/Federal Government. He holds several patents and has published thought leadership pieces in management and industry journals. He has also been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, BBC, CIO Magazine and others.
