Big data isn’t just about sensors, mobile devices, the Internet of
things and highly sophisticated decision support applications. Like
any significant technology disruption, its impact can be detectable
long before it becomes a household word.

Organizations—whether or not they are aware of it—are already
feeling the foreshocks of big data with their approach to social data.
In this talk, Susan Etlinger will discuss how organizations are
addressing the challenges of social data—technological,
organizational and cultural—and what it can teach us on the road to
big data.
