Who is this presentation for?

  • ML researchers and practitioners, data scientists, and developers curious about TensorFlow

Prerequisite knowledge

  • A basic understanding of TensorFlow and the general principles of machine learning

What you'll learn

  • Learn what's new in TensorFlow
  • Discover how ML can change your business

TensorFlow is a powerful framework for expressing machine learning algorithms, especially deep learning, and has been changing rapidly since Google open-sourced it in November 2015. Wolff Dobson explores new and updated features in TensorFlow, touches on several different available TensorFlow public models released by TensorFlow and the community at large, explaining how they apply to various problems in research and business, and shares the very latest news about TensorFlow directly from the Google Brain team. Join in to learn what’s in store for TensorFlow and how ML can change your business.

Topics include:

  • TFlite: A new library for mobile devices
  • Critical updates to the high-level API, including canned estimators and Keras
  • The new multithreaded data input pipeline, which replaces TensorFlow’s original queuing system
  • TPUs (tensor processing units): High-speed specialized hardware for very large problems
