Strata Data Gives Back: The Three Peaks Challenge

10:0019:00 Wednesday, 24 May 2017
Location: Outside Expo Hall

At Strata Data Conference, we’ll be participating in a virtual Three Peaks Challenge through the use of stair stepper machines, in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. We will be crowdsourcing steps from attendees to achieve different “elevation” milestones, which are tied to donations. If attendees “summit” Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis during the conference, Cloudera Cares will donate a total of £5,000 to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

What is the Three Peaks Challenge?
The Three Peaks Challenge is an organized event where small groups summit the tallest mountains in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis), and Wales (Mount Snowdon) within a 24-hour period to raise funds and awareness for a charity of their choice.

About the charity:
Great Ormond Street Hospital provides world-class care to children and young people with rare, complex, and difficult-to-treat conditions.
