Description

GPU-based databases, visualization layers, and analytic platforms have an immense advantage over their CPU-bound counterparts. Todd Mostak explains how data scientists and analysts can execute and visualize SQL queries on billions of rows of data in milliseconds—up to 1,000x faster than legacy CPU systems—by leveraging the parallel processing power and memory bandwidth of GPUs. Understanding how GPUs operate in this environment will change the art of the possible.
