Prerequisite Knowledge

Mitsubishi UFJ Information Technology (MUIT) is the IT subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), which is the largest financial group in Japan (and which is still in growth mode). MUIT utilizes various data analytics techniques—such as graph data analytics for¬†marketing, security, evaluating risk, and so on—to analyze business relationship data as graphs. ¬†

Analyzing graph data has some risks. For example, a minor mistake can lead to consumption of 1,000 times more memory than needed for the input data.

In this session, attendees will learn the concepts underlying graph data analytics. Moreover, it will cover how to analyze huge graph data with Apache Spark GraphX. Finally, it will explore what type of data tends to cause problems and how to solve them.
