Learn to develop machine learning, exploratory and predictive models at scale on data stored in-memory. This hands-on course will address exploratory statistical modeling with SAS Visual Statistics, a GUI designed for rapidly screening models and segments. This part of the course will illustrate logistic regression, generalized linear models, classification trees, and cluster segmentation for rapid visualization of modeling results.
For coders, you will learn to use the IMSTAT procedure to dig deeper into structured and unstructured data with random forest models and text parsing. Additional topics include building candidate predictive models, assessing models on training and holdout data, and a brief introduction to creating recommender systems with the RECOMMEND procedure.
Please note: Laptops will be supplied onsite for this training.
