Quentin Mitchell Rallying is one of the youngest and most successful championship rally car teams in Africa. In Kenya, where resources are slim and environmental conditions are harsh, creativity and innovative hacking are instrumental to making anything work, much less a car fit for rally racing in the savannah. When MIT Media Lab Director Joi Ito visited Kenya last year, Quentin took him for a spin through the tea estates outside Nairobi and showed him how he repairs and builds cars from spare parts that would be considered unusable here.
Don’t miss Quentin’s keynote on Thursday morning at 9am!
