You'll receive your "Software Architecture Check-in Code" email the day before the event. This email contains your check in QR code that you can scan to check in at the conference, either from your smartphone or a printout.
Badges at Software Architecture contain a passive RFID chip to enhance your experience. In Your Account after the conference you can view your trip report which includes the sessions you actually attended, favorited sessions that you missed, other highly rated sessions, and the videos of those sessions if they're available. No personal information is stored in the RFID badge, only an ID number. For more details or to opt out, visit the Customer Service desk at Registration after you pick up your badge. Read more.

If you're attending a training course or tutorial, please review the instructions for each session and take action on the requirements before you arrive. Some training courses and tutorials require software downloads, installations, and other "homework." Instructions can be found on the detail page for each training or tutorial.

The Online Attendee Directory is now open. See who else will be at Software Architecture this year, set up your personal profile, message other attendees, and manage your contacts. You will need to make sure you are opted-in to the Attendee Directory to begin using it.
Create your own Software Architecture agenda using the personal scheduler function. Mark the presentations and events you want to attend by clicking on the calendar icon next to each listing on the website. You can then access it by clicking on the "personal schedule" link in the Schedule View page. You can also use the Event App to build your daily schedule.
Wireless Internet will be available throughout the conference area. The SSID is SACon and the password is oreillysacon. Keep in mind that you're sharing the network with your fellow Software Architecture attendees, so please refrain from downloading large files while on the conference network. In addition, please do not use personal Mi-Fis or Hotspots as they interrupt our network signal. We'll be live streaming all of the keynote presentations on the video page. All presentations that are live streamed will also be available for viewing on the O'Reilly Media Software Architecture Ideas site after the conference. Be sure to share the link with those who could not attend this year.
All tutorials, sessions, and keynotes at Software Architecture are being recorded. This video compilation will be available for purchase about three weeks after the conference ends. Please note: If you have a Platinum or Gold Pass, the video compilation is already included with your pass. There is no need to purchase it separately.
We'll be posting speaker slides as we get them; however keep in mind not all speakers choose to make their slides available for download.

Our goal is to capture the excitement of our conferences, and you may see photographers or videographers (including ones we've hired) documenting this event. It's possible that you would appear in some of these shots. We also encourage attendees to share their conference experiences through social media. We invite you to speak directly with any photographer if you have concerns about their activities. Photos or videos taken by or on behalf of O'Reilly may be posted on one or more of our sites or used in future marketing materials and publications.
