Online websites need to support multiple languages to reach a broader audience. There are now solutions for internationalization globalization and localization of Ruby on Rails applications. Multi-language support is a must have for many Rails applications aiming to have an international influence. With different versions of Ruby and Rails, there are tools and solutions to implement such features for web applications.

This session will give an overview of the existing solutions and demonstrate the use of these tools or APIs. Then let’s open the discussion to the future tools needed to create successful international languages support.
