Office Hour with Dianne Marsh

Dianne Marsh (Netflix)
Location: Expo Hall (Table 3)
  • Let’s discuss continuous deployment: the why, the how, the who!
  • I am the Director of Engineering for Cloud Tools at Netflix. My team is responsible for build tools (continuous integration, dependency management), creating custom AMIs (Aminator), deploying to the cloud (Asgard), canary testing, and testing resiliency in the cloud with the Simian Army (Chaos Monkey, Janitor Monkey, and Conformity Monkey). We continue to improve our continuous deployment pipeline to integrate these tools toward reducing mundane, error prone tasks so that our engineers can continue to innovate at a fast pace.
  • Come talk to us about how you may be able to incorporate some of these open source tools into your continuous deployment environment!
