Built for developers, AWS Elastic Beanstalk lets you quickly deploy and manage your applications in the AWS cloud. Elastic Beanstalk supports some of the most popular open source languages and frameworks, including Node.js and Express, Python and Django, and Ruby on Rails, and integrates with popular open source tools like Eclipse and Git. Develop using the languages, frameworks and tools you love, then upload (or `git aws.push`) your applications to Elastic Beanstalk. Beanstalk automatically handles the deployment details, including capacity provisioning, load balancing, auto-scaling, and application health monitoring.

In this session we’ll provide a 20-minute overview of Elastic Beanstalk, covering key service features including APIs and developer tools. And then we deploy! Choose between a Node.js or Python app, then deploy it to your own own Elastic Beanstalk environment.

No prior AWS experience required, but you will need an AWS Account and a laptop. AWS credit provided to cover any costs incurred.
